Tuscaloosa County PARA seeks input from online survey

What do you want out of your parks in Tuscaloosa? An online survery by Tuscaloosa County's Parks and Recreation Authority is seeking the answers to that question from the community.

The survey asks participants what kinds of amenities they'd like to see added, what's most important about a recreational area, and what would make citizens more interested in PARA.

"We want to be the best park and recreation system in the state," executive director Gary Minor said.

He hopes the responses from the survey will help PARA determine what the community needs and wants for future park developments.

The survey is available online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PARA_Survey and will be open until Jan. 31. Anyone who finishes the survey by Jan. 31 is eligible to win a one-year individual PARA membership. A link to the survey can also be found on PARA's website, www.tcpara.org.

Computers are available at the Tuscaloosa Public Library for anyone needing internet access to complete the survey.
